Mrs. Herman Kotzschmar's 1897 Grand Tour
This project was a very special Memoir Book. Mrs. Mary Ann Kotzschmar traveled to Europe with her daughter just before the turn of the century. Every few days, "Mrs. K" sent letters home describing the grand sights they saw and the adventures they experienced. My client carefully transcribed Mrs. K's letters, and we combined her words with images from old postcards of the time. The book that resulted is a wonderful read and an unusual collection of authentic, turn-of-the-century views.

A Beebe River Childhood
Here are some pages from a Memoir Book. Gordon Carr grew up in a small New Hampshire town in a large and loving family. As an adult with a family of his own, Gordon enjoyed remembering his early years and spent many hours writing down stories of his boyhood for his grandchildren. Combining family photographs and stories, Gordon's daughter worked with me to create a fitting tribute to her father and a permanent record of his life's adventures. When Gordon passed away, the storybook became a beautiful memorial tribute to him.

An article about Esther Walker
This is an example of a Shortie project, completed for a historical society that is working on an ongoing series of oral histories. Every person's life is extraordinary in some way. This is truly the case for Esther Walker.
